AMEL, a renowned French shipyard known for its world-class sailing yachts, entrusted Jean François Parodi with the design of its new offices in Hyères. Inspired by the pure lines and elegance of yacht interiors, the project reflects 50 years of naval craftsmanship through architectural simplicity and seamless integration of function and form.

Objectives :
• Translate the essence of a sailing yacht into a terrestrial office space, honoring AMEL’s legacy.
• Recreate the harmony and functionality of boat interiors: curved lines, light oak wood, and immaculate whites.
• Maximize natural light with clever layout choices such as glass partitions and a central skylight.
• Design an immersive reception area reminiscent of a yacht saloon, integrating digital marketing tools in a refined atmosphere.

Results :
The final result is a space that breathes calm, fluidity, and discretion — echoing the comfort of AMEL’s yachts. Offices are designed like cabins, connected visually through transparent partitions, creating a balance between openness and privacy.Light oak wood and sleek white surfaces dominate the palette, while every technical element is seamlessly integrated into the design.
The reception area welcomes visitors like the saloon of a yacht, complete with The Frame digital display for AMEL's marketing media.Jean François provided full creative direction: sketches, moodboards, 2D/3D layouts, and oversaw fabrication and final installation.
