SOLA
SOLA is a vibrant concept blending Mediterranean charm with New York nightlife spirit. Located on the Port of Le Lavandou, this all-year-round venue offers a seamless indoor-outdoor dining and celebration experience. Jean François Parodi created an immersive environment that shifts from sun-drenched relaxation by day to a glamorous, Studio 54-inspired nightlife atmosphere after dark.

Objectives :
• Extend the outdoor terrace experience into the interior to maintain a year-round sunny ambiance.
• Blend Mediterranean elegance with urban sophistication, using rich materials and iconic design references.
• Design a modular layout that transitions from restaurant to festive venue, with flexible seating and a central DJ space.
• Use light and reflection - through mirrors, quartzite flooring, and neon - to create an immersive sensory atmosphere.
• Curate every detail from bespoke banquettes to floral elements, fusing nature, nostalgia, and innovation.

Results :
The final space is a bold and transformative venue that captures both the essence of the Riviera and the pulse of a New York night. Outdoors, the Croisette chairs by Honoré set a graphic, elegant tone. Inside, a Brazilian quartzite floor in warm hues creates a mineral canvas, while mirrors reflect natural light by day and electrify the ambiance by night.
A custom “inside-outside” bar, curved marble DJ booth, and modular banquettes define the space’s dual identity. Iconic neon signage and vintage references — including a Hemingway quote — anchor the narrative. Every element, from lighting to vegetation, contributes to a complete and festive immersion.Jean François oversaw all stages, from concept to fabrication and installation.
